The relationship between husband and wife is foundational to building a Christ-centered family. City on the Hill is committed to nurturing this bond, and on September 21, it welcomed speakers from its sister community, Christ the Redeemer in Minnesota. Ed and Leslie Gross led a spirit-filled retreat titled "Cultivating a Household of Faith in Different Seasons of Marriage in a Culture of Darkness," offering deep insights and guidance for couples seeking to grow their faith together amidst today’s challenging world.

City on the Hill hosted a memorable evening of music and connection at their Unplugged and Uplifted event. Families, friends, and guests gathered to enjoy uplifting music, share stories, and strengthen their bonds with one another. The event provided a heartwarming and inspiring atmosphere for all who attended.

A transformative journey has come to a close. The Life in the Spirit Seminar has successfully equipped its 7 graduates with a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and His role in their lives. Through prayer, study, and community, they have been empowered to live a more authentic and fulfilling Christian life. As they embark on this new chapter, may the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire them on their spiritual path.

Our summer picnic, themed 'A Day at the Farm,' was a delightful community gathering. Families dressed in their best farmer attire, creating a charming atmosphere. A great time to enjoy a delicious feast, including two lechons, a day filled with fun games, and activities, creating lasting memories for our community.

The women of COH spent intimate time with the Lord and let the Holy Spirit work mightily on them as they experienced the Power from on High.

The men of City on the Hill gathered together at Lestonnac Retreat Center in Tustin, CA for one of the most anticipated events of the year: The Power from on High Retreat. 

On June 1, 2024, the Youth Ministry members, workers, families, and friends gathered together in Founder's Park, Rancho Palos Verdes to hold its Move Up Ceremony. The day was filled with joy and laughter as everyone shared a meal, played games, and hung out.

City on the Hill had a spirit-filled celebration last May 19 at YLCC. On this day, each member recommitted themselves to each other and to God. One brother committed to become an underway member and two couples accepted the covenant.

CoH had a great time spending time together in Founders Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Families and friends got to experience to joy of community life in this evangelistic event.

The Publicly Committed women of City on the Hill experienced the joy of being fully devoted to one another as they celebrated high tea at the Springfield Tea Garden in Fullerton, CA. They spent the morning worshipping the Lord together, sipping exquisite tea, and getting to know each other through fun-filled games.

Members and guests get to experience a hearty breakfast and a Spirit-filled fellowship last Apr 20, 2024. Deevs and Checos Venegas shared their journey and how the Lord has blessed them tremendously despite overwhelming challenges.
